Goldcard Smart domestic ultrasonic gas meter was developed based on self-developed ultrasonic technology, which adopts compact design with no moving parts, it has the advantages of high reliability, high accuracy, wide measurement range ratio.
Working Principle
The domestic ultrasonic gas meter calculate the gas flow rate V by measuring the time TUP at which ultrasonic wave was transmitted from the upstream transducer to downstream transducer, and the time Tdown at which ultrasonic wave was transmitted from downstream transducer to upstream transducer, then calculating the flow rate of the gas according to the cross-sectional area S of the flow channel.

Gas Safety
● Reverse flow: meter can detect reverse gas flow, and judge if meter installed wrongly, close valve automatically.
● Abnormal tiny flow: when detects continuous tiny flow, meter will automatically close the valve to prevent gas leakage ;
● Installation and disassemble detection: when detects air intrusion, meter will report to the system and automatically close the valve;
● High temperature detection: when detects high temperature above the high temperature alarm threshold, meter will automatically close the valve;
● Water ingress detection: when detects water ingress, the valve will be closed automatically to ensure pipe network safety ;
